P.s. Loved seeing D attempt to eat this beast of a burger with her tiny mouth.
It was a lengthy goodbye when Ben went to work away for a few days. Multiple kisses and cuddles, just in case they didn’t have enough to last until they saw him next. It was very sweet!
A wonderful treat to take two of the girls to the ballet and see a beautiful performance of Cinderella. Because it’s especially for children it has a spoken commentary throughout, which was great for me as well as the children, to understand the story as it was performed.
The weather at the weekends has been so hit and miss, we have tried to fit something in between the rain and cold. So as soon as the sun peeks through the clouds we’re off!
This was when we stopped off on the way to my parents house. A beautiful national trust property, with a stunning walled garden.
It was an emotional weekend, as it was the last time we would see my parents house, as they’re selling up and moving north. We would no longer be visiting the town where I grew up and it’s surrounding areas (unless I pay for accommodation…which just feels wrong!). It was the end of an era!
